Youth Cricket
Foreword
We run teams in the local Under 11 and Under 13 leagues again this year. We will need support this year from parents on training nights and also at matches. Our volunteer coaches give up their time to ensure all the children get a great experience and this year will need helping hands at times. We are proud that we provide the services we do at what is probably the cheapest cricket in the area.
All-Stars and Dynamos continues to be a success for us. We are again expecting 40 children to sign up on Friday evenings, which brings great benefits to the club. Children have a steady progression from Dynamos to Under 11 hardball and again in 2021 we saw 6 children make that step up.
This year has seen the introduction of a Third XI on Saturdays. This will include a number of players that have progressed through our Under 11 and 13 teams.
We are immensely proud of this.
In 2024 we have introduced an Under 15 team playing competitive cricket to further add to the youth progression in the club
